TERMS & CONDITIONS

INTRODUCTION

  1. MYDIN Meriah Rewards Program (“The Program”) is operated and owned by MYDIN Mohamed Holdings Bhd. (MYDIN).
  2. The Program allows members to earn points when making purchases of goods and/or services at MYDIN and then use those points to redeem rewards and enjoys privileges from the Meriah Rewards Catalog by CLS and In-store Redemption Counter at any MYDIN’s outlets. 

MEMBERSHIP

  1. To participate in the Program, you must be a valid Member. As a&member, you must complete sign and return the Program registration form. MYDIN reserves the right to determine who shall be eligible for membership in the Program..
  2. Applications are open to all nationalities including foreign nationalities aged 18 years and above for principal card and 13years and above for supplementary card.
  3. The official membership identification for the Program:
    - Meriah Card – member can also opt to apply for the Meriah Card by completing and signing
      Program application form. Meriah Card is not a credit, charge or discount card. It cannot be
      transferred and is for the exclusive use of the Members.
  4. Your membership will commence the first time you use your Meriah Card and earn points. You are deemed to have accepted agreed to abide to the Terms and Condition upon the first use.
  5. one (1) Meriah Rewards membership is available per person.
  6. Members are responsible for keeping their address and other personal particulars in the records of MYDIN up-to-date. MYDIN will not be responsible for any loss of data or information or for any loss that may occur to any Members due to the failure of MYDIN’s recording systems or for any other reason. A supplementary cardholder cannot make any changes to the principal cardholder’s details.
  7. Promoters are not allowed to use any of the membership identification during working hours and strictly not on customer purchases.
  8. The Meriah Card is accepted at all MYDIN’s outlets, MyMydin and MYDIN Mart and is the sole and exclusive property of MYDIN. As the program owner, MYDIN may revoke and cancel any of the membership if the Member fails to comply with any of these Terms and Conditions. MYDIN reserves the right to cancel all Points earned in relation to that Member’s account and/or to refuse to allow that Member to make any redemption(s)with their accrued Points.
  9. Members shall immediately inform MYDIN of lost or stolen cards by visiting the Customer Services Counter at the respective MYDIN’s outlets during the operating hours.
  10. Renewal is on annual basis. For example, the membership for member who joined on 15th March 2007 is valid until 31st March 2008.
  11. If Meriah Card is stolen, lost or damaged, a fee of RM5 will be charged for a replacement card. Members shall immediately inform MYDIN of lost or stolen cards at any MYDIN Customer and not applicable for delivery.
  12. MYDIN will not be responsible for any delay in replacing a lost or stolen card, or fro delayed or lost correspondence, whether in the mail or otherwise or for any loss arising form the same.

  14. Principal cardholders have the right to terminate the supplementary cards.
  15. Members are responsible for membership renewal at any Services Counters.
  16. The supplementary cardholders will carry the same membership expiry with the principal cardholders irregardless of the application date for the supplementary card.
  17. Members must present the valid membership identification to the cashier before every transaction to ensure that spending amount is recorded. Failure to do so will mean that amount spent will not betaken into account for point calculation.
  18. All correspondence will be forwarded to the principal cardholders.
  19. MYDIN reserves the right to use the database information from marketing and promotional purposes. 

POINTS 
  1. For every RM1 nett spent, 1 MYDIN Reward Point will be awarded.
  2. MYDIN Points will expire 3 years form the year points have been accumulated. For example: points purchases made in anytime in year 2007 will be valid till 31st December 2010.
  3. The following items are not included in the points calculation:
    - Purchase of MYDIN gift voucher.
    - Telephone cards, mobile phone prepaid cards & stamps.
    Delivery Charges.
    - Repair & services charges.
    - Stamp Duty and Easy Payment interest.
    - Purchases from tenant’s outlets.
  4. Points has no cash value and is not exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

  5. Points earned are not-transferable, saleable or assignable to other persons.

  6. Points for purchases made by the supplementary cardholders will be awarded to the principal cardholders.
  7. MYDIN reserves the right to adjust the points structure or requirements, as well as substitutes or replace items with items of an approximately equivalent value without prior notice.
  8. MYDIN reserves the right to deduct the balance of a Member’s points accumulation in the event that:
    - Any points are suspected of being fraudulently recorded.
    - Any points are recorded in error.
    - Any points related to a transaction which has been cancelled or where a refund has been given.
  9. Members are responsible to check their available Points balance/expiry during business hours by:

    - Log in to MYDIN Meriah Rewards Program website at www.meriahrewards.com.my.
    - Visit any Customer Services counters at the respective MYDIN’s outlets. Customer Service Hotline

      SUNDAY & PUBLIC HOLIDAY : CLOSED
GENERAL 
  1. If
      - You fail to observe or comply with these Terms & Condition which includes any addition or
        variation thereto); or
      - MYDIN suspects that the Points were fraudulently accumulated or wrongly recorded or you have
        misrepresented any information provided for the Program, MYDIN may at its own.
  2. Membership in the Program and all related benefits are offered atthe sole discretion of MYDIN. MYDIN reserves the right, from time to time, to restrict suspend or otherwise alter aspect of these Terms amp; Conditions, with or without notice to the Members, which changes may affect the value o Points already accumulated.
  3. MYDIN reserves the right and may at its discretion suspend or terminate the Program at any time without prior notice to the members.
  4. MYDIN reserves the right and may its discretion decline the issuance of or withdraw the Meriah Card at any time or terminate membership as and when necessary without prior notice.
  5. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary express or implied the members shall not have any claims or demands of whatever nature against MYDIN Mohamed Holdings Bhd. for or in connection with the Program and its membership or otherwise in respect of anything done by MYDIN under or in connection with the program.
  6. MYDIN reserves the right not to send any mail, Points statement,Program materials (which includes but not limited to catalogs) or written communication to Members who do not meet the minimum transaction frequency and/or minimum criteria as may be determined by MYDIN.
  7. Any notice, communication, summary or other Program materials to be given pursuant to these Terms & Conditions shall be sufficiently sent to you by ordinary post to your mailing addressa according to MYDIN’s records and shall be deemed to have been delivered five (5) workings day from the date of its posting. Members are responsible for informing MYDIN of any change of name or address promptly.
  8. The Program and these Terms & Conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the law of Malaysia.
  9. In the event of inconsistency between the respective language versions of the Program, Terms & Conditions and related materials, the English language version shall prevail.
  10. Every effort is made to ensure that information supplied to Members is correct. MYDIN will not be liable for any inaccuracy or erroneous description or information on the Program and these Terms & Conditions.
  11. MYDIN reserves the right to amend the Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
